opening conversations on racial issues in organizations, committee
meetings, or one-on-one discussions is a relational process.
Many people use outdated concepts and definitions of race, but
through intergroup dialogue strategies, participants are able to
develop greater awareness, appreciation, and respect for racial differences.
Learning Outcomes:
- Learn intergroup dialogue strategies to discuss race
- Identify examples of racial awareness in personal and professional life
- Explore the complexities of race and racial issues in American organizations
