On August 20, 2022, GVSU Alumni reconnected on the Allendale Campus to begin a new annual learning experience for those serving on alumni boards, committees, and in leadership roles within alumni networks. We plan to gather alumni leaders on campus yearly during Move-In weekend for strategic planning, professional development, social engagement, and some fun!

On December 4, 2021, Laker Alumni returned to the Allendale campus and joined the Young Alumni Council for a holiday brunch with Santa Claus and Louie the Laker. There were crafts for the little Lakers, photo opportunities with Santa and Louie, food, mimosas for the adults and more!

On October 30th, 2021, the classes of 1970 and 1971 returned to Grand Valley's Allendale Campus to celebrate their Golden Reunion. They enjoyed appetizers and beverages as they reflected on past memories in which they spent together years ago.
Billy Mac Golf Outing - September 2021 (45 Photos)
On September 17, 2021, friends and family of Billy McDonald met at the Egypt Valley Country Club for a fundraiser golf outing benefiting the William “Bill” McDonald Memorial Scholarship. Bill McDonald, '78, was a beloved football alumni who passed away in March of 2021. The golf outing is to celebrated his life as a family man, friend, and mentor, while raising money to help grow his scholarship. All proceeds directly benefited the Bill McDonald Scholarship Fund which will assist football student-athletes at GVSU with the cost of summer school/room and board.
