My favorite Grand Valley memory was when I proposed to my wife, Valerie, with the Laker Marching Band playing behind us. We met during our freshman year in the LMB and have now been together for almost 9 years.

Having the opportunity to learn more about my favorite subjects on one campus was so special. I will never forget how thankful I felt to be able to live the dream of pursuing both dance and biology.

It's so hard to choose one favorite Grand Valley memory, but I would say attending the football games with my parents would be my favorite. My brother was in the Grand Valley marching band so we would always enjoy watching him play.
