1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
After graduating, I accepted a full-time position with Merrill
Lynch and I got engaged in the same year! My wife and I now live in
Rockford with our 8-month-old son. Out of gratitude for the value that
GVSU provided me, I began volunteering at the GVSU Young Alumni
Council in 2022. I have served as a co-chair of the Governance
Committee and I’m currently serving as the President for the 2024 -
2025 term year.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
The Sechia Breakfast Series. An introduction at one of the
breakfasts allowed one connection to another, which landed me an
internship, provided me with a full-time position, and provided me
with my current job.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Every time that you get coffee with one of your connections, ask
for two contacts that would be beneficial for you to meet.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Valuable, Fruitful, and Ongoing
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I want everyone to have financial success, literacy, and security.
