Coming up on April 11! Archaeological Discoveries at Fort St Joseph
April 05, 2018
Fort St. Joseph, first established as a mission in the 1680's by French Jesuits, was one of the earliest European settlements in the western Great Lakes region. After searching for this outpost for over a hundred years and finally finding it, what's next? In this presentation, Dr. Nassaney (Principal Investigator of the Fort St. Joseph Archaeological Project) discusses what has been learned from two decades of archaeological investigation at this important site.
The talk will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 7 p.m., Lake Michigan Hall 249.
