Micro-Internships with Parker Dewey

The GVSU Career Center is excited to partner with Parker Dewey to offer Micro-Internships to Lakers!

A Micro-Internship is a short-term, paid project that can be completed within 10-40 hours, typically due within a week to a month. These projects require no on-boarding and can be completed by a college student with minimal instruction. These are important but low-risk tasks that can be completed either on-site or remotely.

Through a Micro-Internship you will:

  • Learn and hone the skills employers look for when recruiting for internships and full-time positions
  • Explore new industries and potential career paths
  • Build tangible relationships with employers by demonstrating your skills and abilities in substantive projects – many employers use micro-internships as a way to connect with potential interns and full-time hires
