1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
After graduating in December 2021, I continued my professional
career at Steelcase, where I supported dealers in financial reviews,
business development, and product analysis. After gaining valuable
insights on pricing from a sales perspective, I decided to transition
into a role that is focused on pricing strategy. This led me to Gordon
Food Service, where I currently am a Strategic Pricing Analyst within
the Revenue Management Department. In this role, I leverage advanced
pricing strategies to maximize our sales margin and drive customer
profitability. Through this experience, I have cultivated a passion
for pricing analytics, data-driven decision-making, and servant leadership.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
One of my favorite memories was when the Seidman Investment
Portfolio Organization was recognized as the Most Improved Student
Organization. After three years as Vice President of Marketing, it was
incredibly rewarding to see our hard work acknowledged and to realize
the positive impact we had on future students. The organization
continues to thrive, and I will always credit it with shaping my
success and ambition!
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
The best piece of advice I received is that there are people who
watch things happen, wonder what happened, and make things happen.
Strive to be someone who makes things happen.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Rewarding, inspiring, and transformative!
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
The world contains negativity and darkness, I hope to bring joy,
positivity and laughter to areas that need some extra light!
