1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
After graduating virtually, I started my job over zoom through a
thorough training program and joined my team through Zoom. We returned
to the office in May of 2021 and it's been great ever since! Working
in person has been great for understanding the culture and people of
the company I work for.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
Transitions! Being a transitions leader and on the Go Team was
the best experience to welcome everyone back to campus (freshmen and
TLs) in an exciting and fun way!
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
To give yourself grace. There are times we get very wrapped up in
what everyone else is doing and achieving, and it's important to know
everyone is on their own journey and to relax. It'll all work out!
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Involved, comfortable, welcoming
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I'd like to help people realize what they can bring to the table
in any room they enter, self confidence and knowing your worth is so important!
