1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Since graduating from GVSU in 2014, I attended graduate school at
the University of Findlay in Ohio to obtain my Master of Physician
Assistant degree. I graduated from the program in December 2019 and am
now a nationally certified PA licensed to practice in the state of
Michigan. After graduating, I married my husband, Aaron, and we spend
much of our downtime on home renovations, hiking, and enjoying time
with our family and friends in West Michigan.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
My favorite memories of GVSU are living in the Honors College
dorms my freshmen year and all the new, lasting friendships I
developed while living there, leading the Future Alumni Association
and attending the CASE ASAP Conference at MSU with the e-board
members, and the Toast with T. Haas during my graduating year.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Listen more than you speak.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Community. Leadership. Fun.
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I hope to help people live healthy, fulfilling, and connected
lives through my career as a healthcare professional, involvement with
different organizations, and volunteer opportunities.
