What is your current day to day work like?
My day to day includes reviewing expenses incurred by teams, maintaining department budget spend, providing student-athletes with travel per-diem, and processing athletic employee payroll and taxable income.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Having a small hand in positively impacting the student-athlete experience
How did you land your first job?
I was offered my first job at the end of a summer internship program
Favorite thing you have done in your current role?
Attended the 2023 National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) conference in Orlando, FL
Any advice or inspiration for current Sport Management students? (maybe think a little more outside the box than just networking and gaining experience if possible?)
Take initiative! Don't sit back and let your four years go by doing the bare minimum, take advantage of your time and the resources available to you at GV. Use others as a guide but do not try to copy someone else's path, pave your own!
