1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
After graduation, I continued my internship, and then a full-time
position, at a local Public Relations firm that one of my previous
AD/PR professors owned, until the end of 2019. We had handled various
public relations needs for about eight local clients in the Grandville
area. In May of 2020, I started an intern position in Priority
Health’s Marketing department. I focus on member-facing communications
and marketing.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
My favorite Grand Valley memory is attending Toast with T.Haas.
This experience was something I was looking forward to since my
involvement with Laker Traditions in my freshman year. I am grateful
to have been a part of the last graduating class to be able to have
this memory.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Always say yes to new experiences and opportunities.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Opportunity, welcoming, and hard-working.
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
To continue to be an advocate for making
environmentally-conscious choices, knowing that every little bit
counts-even if it is simply encouraging others to shop at thrift
stores or to reduce single-use plastic.
