Unloading Materials

• It is recommended that vendors who have a large amount of display materials utilize the 15-minute unloading zone located on Monroe Avenue in front of DeVos Place Convention Center.
  • This area will be marked with large sandwich board signs that read "Employer Drop Off Zone" and will be staffed with student volunteers to assist in unloading materials.
  • Employers may temporarily park in this area to quickly unload materials and then move their cars to the designated parking areas.
• It is recommended to bring your own cart if you have a large number of items to unload.
• Following DeVos Place Convention Center's exhibitor guidelines, move-in or move-out through the DeVos Place Convention Center lobbies is strictly limited to hand-carried items.
  • The general rule of thumb for things that may be hand-carried is that if you could legally bring it on an airplane, you can take it through the front doors.
