Master of Education in Higher Education: Adult and Higher Education Emphasis

This program is designed for persons who wish to develop their knowledge and competencies in working with adult and higher education students and for individuals who wish to enter student affairs administration in higher education.
Minimum Number of Hours in Program
The M.Ed emphasis in Adult and Higher Education general program and content concentrations requires a minimum of 33 semester hours. The M.Ed emphasis in College Student Affairs Leadership program requires a minimum of 42 semester hours.

Requirements for M.Ed in Adult and Higher Education - General Program
Social Foundations of Education (Choose one):

Research and Evaluation:
Emphasis area requirements for Adult and Higher Education. Select two courses from:

Candidates who do not choose the general program may choose from one of the six concentration areas, Biology, English, History, Mathematics, Physics, or College Student Affairs Leadership, within the Adult and Higher Education emphasis.
Each candidate for the M.Ed degree must complete six semester hours in foundation courses in the following areas:
