Requirements for the Master of Science in Nursing
The M.S.N. curriculum for an advanced generalist consists of 41 credits completed over 7 semesters. Students must complete the following coursework with a grade of B (3.0) or better.
Graduate Nursing Core: 12 Credits
- NUR 605 - Theoretical Perspectives in Nursing I (3 credits)
- NUR 607 - Health Care System, Policy & Politics (3 credits)
- NUR 608 - Leadership Roles in Complex Systems (3 credits)
- STA 610 - Applied Statistics for Health Professions (3 credits)
Clinical Nursing Core: 9 Credits
- NUR 620 - Clinical Pharmacology (3 credits)
- NUR 622 - Advanced Pathophysiology I (3 credits)
- NUR 623 - Advanced Pathophysiology II (3 credits)
Advanced Generalist Core: 16 Credits
