OT 650 - Foundations of Older Adult Practice

Provides historical background for the development of professional practice with older adults. Course includes the evolution of theories, practice models and role of the therapist as educator and consultant, considering the needs of individuals, groups and populations. Addresses gaps in, and new opportunities for, service. (0-3-0) Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: OT 573.
