CIS 335 - Data Mining

Data mining is the application of computational techniques to the discovery of useful information in large data sets. This course will provide a hands-on study of computational methods for such knowledge discovery. Topics include clustering, classification techniques, and selected data mining software. Course offered winter semester. Prerequisites: CIS 160 or CIS 161 or CIS 162; and STA 215.
