CIS 451 - Computer Architecture

This course will survey advanced computer architecture techniques such as branch prediction, super-scalar, multiprocessors and multicomputers. It will also compare CPU design options (such as CISC vs. RISC) and discuss the effects of these options on performance. Course offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisite: CIS 351.
