EGR 214 - Circuit Analysis I

The first of a two-course sequence in linear circuit analysis. Topics include Ohm's Law, Kirchhoff's Laws, node voltage and mesh current analysis, Thevenin's and Norton's Theorems, superposition, basic operation of diodes, transistors, operational amplifiers and transformers, capacitance, inductance, and time-domain analysis of first order circuits. Laboratory. (3-0-3) Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: A grade of 'C' or better in MTH 202 and PHY 230. Declared as an engineering major.
