SW 318 - Generalist Practice II

This course trains students in the skills of engagement, assessment and intervention with individuals, families and groups. Taught from a strengths based perspective with respect for diversity, this course focuses on micro and mezzo theories relevant to practice. Three hours per week of volunteer service in an approved social agency required. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: SW 317. Corequisites: SW 316 and SW 341.
