CIS 451 - Computer Architecture
This course will survey advanced computer architecture techniques such as branch prediction, super-scalar, multiprocessors and multicomputers. It will also compare CPU design options (such as CISC vs. RISC) and discuss the effects of these options on performance. Prerequisites: CIS 351 or EGR 326 and admitted to CIS major or EGR major standing.
