FVP 123 - Survey of Media Production Modes

Introductory course in the critical study of the various modes of film/video/animation/new media production. Examines distinctive formal elements of each mode as well as the economic and cultural context of production and reception. A prerequisite course for film and video production. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisite: Restricted to film and video, communication studies, health communication, multimedia journalism, photography, advertising/public relations, and theatre majors.
