CLA 141 - Architecture and Community in the Ancient World
Understanding of architectural design and place-making is critical to the successful functioning of democratic societies. In this course students analyze and compare ancient Greco-Roman and contemporary architecture, monuments, private homes, and other arenas of spatial communication. The comparative perspective encourages students' engagement with the architectural spaces they encounter every day. Offered fall semester. Fulfills Foundations - Arts.
