EDR 225 - Introduction to Teaching Multilingual Learners

Survey course that explores culture and the role it plays on dimensions of language and language variation across a wide range of social, economic, regional, and ethnic groups. Historical and current approaches, methods, and techniques for teaching Multilingual Learners in grade 5-12 classrooms in global and local contexts are highlighted. Fulfills Cultures - Global Perspectives. Offered every semester.
