PT 644 - Clinical Seminar III

Promotes clinical decision-making skills and facilitates consideration of complex case management in neurologic physical therapy practice. Students explore system-based analysis of factors that influence the development of a plan of care. Emphasis on effective interdisciplinary team-based care, advocacy for clients/caregivers, and addressing secondary prevention and health promotion behaviors. Includes observations. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previously required courses in the D.P.T. curricular sequence.
