EGR 645 - Electromagnetics

An exploration into applications of Maxwell's theory to derive electrical properties common to all electrical circuits and systems. A combination of analytical and numerical methods is used to explore concepts like the constitutive relations of matter, field energy, and how electromagnetic energy can be stored and radiated in propagating waves. Offered fall and winter semester.
