GVSU Education Alumna Receives 2022-23 Regional Teacher of the Year Title

CONGRATULATIONS to Kathryn Lamberies, a GVSU Education Programs alumna, on receiving the 2022-23 Regional Teacher of the Year from the Michigan Department of Education!
Kathryn is a 6th and 7th grade English, Social Studies, and Title I Reading teacher at Roscommon Middle School in the Roscommon Area Public School District. Kathryn is in her 19th year of teaching, all of which have been in the Roscommon Area Public School District, with the past seven years at Roscommon Middle School. She is a member of the Building Network team, Talent Management team, a teacher mentor, and a lead teacher for After School Academy and Summer Learning Lab.
Not only is she an outstanding educator for Region 2, she will also
be a finalist for the 2022-23 Michigan Teacher of the Year!
