Deputy Alexis Syswerda, '20, joins the Muskegon County Sheriff's Office

Congratulations to Deputy Alexis Syswerda on her new position with the Muskegon County Sheriff's Office! She has been assigned to the D-Team under the command of Sgt. Tom Schmidt.
While working towards her degrees, Deputy Syswerda interned with the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office. She has an associate’s degree from Muskegon Community College and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Grand Valley. Deputy Syswerda graduated from the GVSU Police Academy in the fall of 2020.
