Congratulations to this year's NASPA Region IV-East Award Recipients!
To Chad Novak, MEd graduate student, on receiving the Graduate Student Rising Star for the state of Michigan. This award is presented to a student pursuing a masters or doctoral degree related to student affairs at a college or university and demonstrates excellence in the classroom and leadership and innovation in their assistantship/internship/cooperative experience.
To Dr. Laila McCloud, assistant professor in educational leadership and counseling, on receiving the Robert H. Shaffer Award for Excellence as a Graduate Faculty Member. This award is given to a member that has responsibility for teaching graduate or professional school students who generally pursue careers in higher education administration and student affairs, consistent and excellent mentorship of graduate students, and solid record of scholarly achievement in appropriate journals and publications.
