Public and nonprofit administration major receives scholarship

The Michigan Municipal League Foundation awarded Alayna Knarian the George and Judith Goodman Scholarship.  This scholarship supports Michigan's future local leaders and encourages traditionally underrepresented groups —including women and people of color—to enter the field of public service.

Alayna is majoring in public and nonprofit administration within the School of Public, Nonprofit and Health Administration and is expected to graduate in 2021.  She likes the smaller cohort of students and has been able to build connections with her fellow classmates and professors.
