Eastpointe welcomes new assistant city manager, Mariah Walton, MPA '18
On February 8, the city of Eastpointe welcomed Mariah Walton as the new assistant city manager.
“Mariah came to us to work in the HR department, and she excelled and really embraced the position and did so well with it so that when this assistant city manager position opened, we knew she was the right person for the job,” said Doom. “She has the energy, the drive, the interest and the community heart we were looking for.”
Mariah graduated from the School of Public, Nonprofit and Health Administration at GVSU in 2018 with a master's degree in public administration.
