All faculty and staff will have access to the RMS.  This will allow faculty and staff to add equipment they have for research and other scholarly activity, and other utilities.  It will also allow faculty to search the department inventory and the greater college inventory.  If you have a responsibility for managing the department inventory or help with other faculty, your access will need to be elevated to an administrator which can be done to by requesting access via [email protected].

Download the Desktop Inventory Client

The inventory software desktop client is the preferred method to create and edit inventory information within RMS.  If you are on a GVSU Macintosh computer, you will download FileMaker from the GV Software application.  If you are using a Windows device, you can download the client software by clicking the blue  button to the right.  Click the red button on the right for instructions on how to install and configure the software.

There is an IOS client available use to interact with the inventory. This is the easiest way to incorporate image references into your inventory items.   You can download the iOS software at the link below.  The instructions to install the software are provided in the pdf link.
