About
Hello! I have been at Grand Valley since 2021, both as a graduate
assistant and a full-time staff member.
I am originally from
central Illinois and attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN for
my bachelor’s where I earned double majors in Psychological Science
and Women's & Gender Studies. I played mellophone in the Pride of
Mid-America marching band all four years I attended Ball State and
made my best college memories with that group.
I then moved to
Grand Rapids to attend Grand Valley for my M.Ed. in College Student
Affairs Leadership and graduated in August 2023. During my degree I
worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Financial Aid &
Scholarships,
and then was a full-time financial aid counselor
until I transitioned to CLAS advising! I am so excited to be in this
advising center, and I am especially excited to advise for the fine
arts majors!
In my free time I play trumpet in the Forest Hills
Adult Community Band, and I also enjoy reading, game nights, and
spending time with my family/friends/cat.
