Hi there! My name is Brian and I am so excited to be on this academic journey with you!
My time at GVSU began in 2018 when I arrived for undergrad. While studying Sport Management, I was involved with the Laker Athletic Marketing and Fan Development department as an intern, the Admissions department as a tour guide, and Housing & Residence Life as a Resident Assistant in Kirkpatrick Living Center. I graduated with my B.S. In 2022 only to return to GVSU the following semester to begin grad school and my Graduate Assistantship with the Sport Management program. I graduated with my M.S. in Communications in April 2024.
Originally from the metro-Detroit suburb of Franklin, I have been living in the Grand Rapids area permanently since the beginning of grad school. When I'm not on campus, my partner Marissa and I love to explore the area and all it has to offer, visit West Michigan beaches and attractions, enjoy time up north, and spend as much time outside as possible. I am an avid Detroit sports fan and will talk your ear off about the Lions for as long as you'll let me.
