About
Hello - Saludos! My name is Diego and I am excited to be part of the CLAS advising team! I was born in Grand Rapids and lived here until I went to Northern Michigan University where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience in 2021. I then went on to attend Eastern Illinois University where I graduated with my Masters of Science in College Student Affairs. Previously I was a Graduate Resident Director for EIU and once I graduated, I accepted a full time Resident Hall Director position at University of North Dakota and after a while decided to move back home to Michigan, and now I’m CLAS as an Academic Advisor. Outside of work, I like to play tabletop games like Catan or Magic the Gathering, go on runs, travel locally or plan a big trip somewhere, and recently my friends got me into listening to some of the local bands in the area live. I am excited to get to meet you!
