About
I am very excited to be part of the CLAS Academic Advising team and I look forward to working with students preparing to start their careers in education! I also began my career in elementary education after earning my Bachelor of Arts degree and Teaching Certificate from Grand Valley and my MAT in Curriculum & Instruction from Marygrove College. After leaving the classroom, I worked at various non-profits before getting my MA in College Counseling from Western Michigan University. I started my advising career at Kalamazoo Valley Community College before returning to my roots here at GV. Go Lakers! Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, playing board games or card games, doing puzzles, and hanging out with my dogs.
