About
Aquan Grant-Wayne joined the CSO as the School Support Liaison in November 2024, bringing a track record of initiating teacher resources and institutional systems that encourage professional growth and instructional success to provide academic support to school leaders and teachers. She has previously served in numerous K-12 education leadership roles, including director of school quality, assistant director of education services, and principal. She has primarily supported students and families in Detroit and in its surrounding communities, was the founding principal for two charter public high schools in Westfield and Taylor. Prior to moving into an education leadership role, Aquan spent years in the classroom as a science instructor.
