Ginele Johnson, a Grand Valley alumna with a B.S. in Communications, serves as the Office Coordinator in Digital Studies. Prior to joining the team, Ginele served as a marketing administrative assistant in the grocery industry and collegiate athletics, was a small business owner and most recently, served as office secretary in the K-12 public school system. 

In addition to Digital Studies, Ginele also supports the following programs: Integrative Studies, Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies , LGBTQ Studies, and Leadership & Professional Innovation.

Owen Kirkpatrick, a freshman at Grand Valley pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, serves as the Digital Studies Lab Manager. Owen also currently works as a Student Manager at the Blue Connection and previously worked as a lifeguard in his hometown. He is a member of the Honors College and is involved in the ASME and esports clubs. He enjoys exercising, volunteering, playing and listening to music, and video games.
