Project Abstract
The purpose of this project was to develop a new variant of one of Array of Engineer’s current products, the Automated Test Controller (ATC). The ATC is a custom data acquisition circuit board, which contains a multitude of analog and digital interfaces for use in electronic hardware testing automation. The new variant of the product was to be smaller and ruggedized so that it is more compatible for field use. The ATC Lite includes select digital interfaces that satisfy customer needs, including various serial communication protocols, general purpose input and output, and analog input and output. A graphical user interface (GUI) was developed for the user to interface with all features of the controller. The most prevalent application of this design is testing for U.S. Army Ground Vehicles.
