Abstract

The purpose of this project is to create a vacuum oven for Woodward Inc. The vacuum oven will allow Woodward to replace an aging drying oven, which will decrease cycle time by adding a vacuum function. When developing the vacuum oven design, both safety and longevity were strong design considerations, as well as keeping user experience similar to the existing equipment.
