Brief Biography: Dr. Ali joined the School of Engineering at Grand Valley State University in 2015. Prior to coming to Grand Valley, she worked as a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Platteville and an instructor at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

Degrees: Dr. Ali received a B.E. degree in Textile Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Dr. Ali’s areas of interest and expertise include Vibrations, Dynamics, Controls, Mathematical Optimization Theory and Algorithms, Multilevel Algorithms, Game Theory.
