Autocam Medical Engineering Scholarship
Autocam Medical Engineering Scholarship was established by Autocam Medical Corporation under the leadership of President John C. Kennedy. Autocam Medical is a leading contract manufacturer of high-performance, precision CNC machined components for demanding medical applications. Kennedy attributes the company’s success to its emphasis on continuous process improvement efforts and employee involvement.
Autocam Medical would like to encourage engineering majors interested in practical engineering and educate young people about the changes in the advanced manufacturing field that have taken place over the last 20 years. By providing scholarship support to students from Michigan who may have limited exposure to manufacturing, they hope to raise awareness among college-aged populations about advanced manufacturing and ultimately improve the image of manufacturing that is portrayed in popular culture.
