• This scholarship may be renewed without reapplication provided the student continues to make Satisfactory Academic Progress and based on availability of funding. This scholarship will support a sophomore student for a total of three (3) years.
• Finalists will be contacted by faculty and staff of the Engineering Scholarship Committee for an interview, and asked to sign a release to share your resume with Autocam Medical. In addition to the scholarship, Autocam Medical encourages students to apply for internship and co-op opportunities at Autocam Medical. Autocam Medical may contact you about future opportunities with their company.

• Candidates must be accepted for or currently attending GVSU
• Must be an undergraduate junior or senior level student enrolled in the Padnos College of Engineering with a declared engineering major
• Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or greater
• Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress
• Financial need may be considered and can be demonstrated by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

• Incoming student

• Must be a new entering freshman and apply for admission to GVSU prior to December 31
• Must have participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better in high school
• Optional: a competitive ACT/SAT score; typically 26 ACT/1260 SAT: Consider providing your standardized test scores for consideration. Additionally, if you are seeking to showcase strong math proficiency, we encourage you to submit your test scores and have at least 6 units of high school math and science.

Scholarship Committee: The Engineering Scholarship Committee will select a recipient from those students who meet the above qualifications and who have been admitted to the University. Awards will be announced by the end of March. Two scholarships are awarded annually to EGR

Renewal Criteria: To renew a student must be enrolled in engineering and carry a minimum of 12 credits each semester, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA at GVSU and successfully complete the engineering requirements for each academic year. Can receive scholarship for a maximum of 10 semesters.

• Applied for admission to GVSU prior to December 31, and have been accepted for enrollment or be a current student.
• Enrolled as a full-time, degree-seeking student in the School of Engineering
• Have at least 6 units of high school math and science (first year students)
• Demonstrated financial need as evidenced by the FAFSA form
• Declared their ethnic or multiracial, person of color, status on their admissions application

Recipients will be selected by the Engineering Scholarship Committee from those students who meet the above qualifications and have been admitted to the University.

• Must declare a major in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater

• This scholarship can be awarded to an individual for a maximum of two (2) academic years. To be considered in future years, students must re-apply by the deadline and continue to meet the qualifications. Any additional awards are based on availability of funding.

• Be a current GVSU engineering student or have applied for admission to GVSU prior to December 31, and have been accepted by Grand Valley,
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 in High School (if an entering freshman), at Grand Valley or at another accredited college or university,
• Have an ACT math sub-score of at least 27 and a composite score of at least 25, or an SAT math score of at least 665 and an SAT total of at least 1220
• Have successfully completed at least 6 units of high school math and science courses (if an entering freshman),
• Have filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form. First priority will be given to students that have financial need.

• Must be undergraduate student enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more)
• Must be accepted to the School of Engineering
• Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress
• Preference will be given to students that demonstrate the largest unmet need as determined by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• This scholarship may be renewed without reapplication provided the student continues to meet the qualifications and based on availability of funding. This scholarship may be awarded to an individual for a maximum of two (2) academic years.

• Must demonstrate an interest in environmental issues

• Minimum math sub-score of at least 26 ACT/650 SAT and composite score of at least 23 ACT/1140 SAT
• Minimum of 6 units of high school math and science
• Must be enrolled full-time

• Candidates must be accepted for GVSU by February 1st or currently attending GVSU
• New students may be considered for this scholarship
• Must be enrolled with full-time status as pre-engineering or accepted in Padnos College of Engineering and Computing, School of Engineering as degree-seeking student
• Must have GPA of 3.0 or greater in either high school or at GVSU, or another accredited college or university
• Freshmen candidates must have mathematics sub-score of 27 ACT/ 665 SAT and a composite score of 25 ACT/ 1210 SAT. Also must have completed at least 6 units of high school mathematics and science courses

1. Nontraditional Students: Candidates and/or recipients, as applicable, for this scholarship must meet the following criteria:
   • Candidates and recipients will be "nontraditional" students who are returning students, or students who are "retooling" and pursuing a second degree, or those who interrupted their education before completing a degree and are at least 24 years of age
   • Candidates must be accepted for GVSU in the subsequent academic year
   • Candidates must be enrolled with full-time or part-time status as a pre-engineering or declared engineering degree-seeking student in the Padnos College of Engineering
   • Extra consideration will be given to scholarship candidates who have financial need. For financial need to be considered, candidates must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
   • This scholarship may be renewed without reapplication provided the student continues to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress in the School of Engineering and based on availability of funding.
2. First Generation Students: Candidates and/or recipients, as applicable, for this scholarship must meet the following criteria:
   • Must be the first person in his or her immediate family to pursue a college degree (neither parent/guardian(s) has a four-year degree)
   • Candidates must be accepted for or currently attending GVSU
   • Candidates must be enrolled with full-time status as a pre-engineering or declared engineering degree-seeking student
   • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
   • Must demonstrate financial need through the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
   • This scholarship may be renewed without reapplication provided the student continues to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress in the School of Engineering and based on availability of funding.

• Continuing student

• Candidates must be accepted for or currently attending GVSU
• Must be an undergraduate entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year
• Must be full-time (12 credit hours or more)
• Must be enrolled in the School of Engineering
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
• All engineering majors who demonstrate interest in the building industry are eligible to apply
• Preference given to students majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

• Continuing student

• Candidates who meet one or more of the following will be given additional consideration:
  • Graduates of urban public schools
  • Transfer student from community college
  • Participants of TRIO or Upward Bound programs
  • Participants of Padnos College of Engineering and Computing outreach activities such as STEPS, AIME, FIRST, MATHCOUNTS
  • Participants of GRAPCEP, GEARUP Michigan or a similar program any time during their K-12 educations
  • Lived in Section 8 or Section 236 housing
• Candidates must be accepted for or currently attending GVSU
• Must be accepted and enrolled with full-time degree seeking status in the School of Engineering
• Must be Junior or Senior level student with minimum of 55 credit hours
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or greater
• Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress
• Transfer candidates must be accepted by GVSU for enrollment and be attending the University
• Must demonstrate financial need through the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
