College of Engineering and Computing
- Must declare a major in either Mechanical Engineering, Product
Design & Manufacturing Engineering and/or Interdisciplinary
Engineering (with a focus on manufacturing)
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or greater
- Must be a making Satisfactory Academic Progress
- This scholarship may be renewed without reapplication provided the
student continues to make Satisfactory Academic Progress and based
on availability of funding. This scholarship will support a
sophomore student for a total of three (3) years.
- Finalists will be contacted by faculty and staff of the
Engineering Scholarship Committee for an interview, and asked to
sign a release to share your resume with Autocam Medical. In
addition to the scholarship, Autocam Medical encourages students to
apply for internship and co-op opportunities at Autocam Medical.
Autocam Medical may contact you about future opportunities with
their company.

- Must have participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better in high school
- Optional: a competitive ACT/SAT score; typically 26 ACT/1260 SAT:
Consider providing your standardized test scores for consideration.
Additionally, if you are seeking to showcase strong math
proficiency, we encourage you to submit your test scores and have at
least 6 units of high school math and science.
- Must have at least 6 units of high school math and science
- Must be enrolled full time (12 credits)
Scholarship Committee: The Engineering Scholarship Committee will
select a recipient from those students who meet the above
qualifications and who have been admitted to the University. Awards
will be announced by the end of March. Two scholarships are awarded
annually to EGR
Renewal Criteria: To renew a student must be enrolled in engineering
and carry a minimum of 12 credits each semester, maintain a minimum
3.0 GPA at GVSU and successfully complete the engineering requirements
for each academic year. Can receive scholarship for a maximum of 10 semesters.
