Abstract
The purpose of this project is to design, build, and verify the implementation of a Mid-Frequency Power Controller (MFPC) by building upon a foundation of previous work provided by RoMan Manufacturing. The focus of the project is to take an input of 3-phase industrial power and convert it to DC using a rectifier. The MFPC will implement different subcircuits to have low harmonic distortion, high efficiency, and a near unity power factor.
