State of Michigan Grants and Scholarships

  • When you fill out your FAFSA you may qualify for the following grants from the State of Michigan
    • MI Achievement Scholarship
    • MI Tuition Grant
    • Tuition Incentive Program (TIP)

 

  • Additional Scholarships available through the state of Michigan include:
    • The Police Officer’s and Fire Fighter’s Survivor Tuition Grant
    • The Children of Veterans Tuition Grant
    • The Fostering Futures Scholarship 
    • Michigan Indian Tuition Waiver
    • The MI Future Educator Fellowship

 

  • Adults (age 25 and up*) in Michigan can apply for a scholarship from the following program:

    Michigan Reconnect

    *Expansion for adults 21-25 through November 15, 2024


MiSSG Student Portal

For students to have access to the MiSSG Student Portal they must have a current-year FAFSA on file (typically received 3-5 days after submission) or have a Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) record.  First time student users must have their Social Security number when signing up to create a username and password.
