494 Fashion Magazine has been working diligently throughout the past year to create GVSU's first-ever fashion magazine! To celebrate, we are hosting an end-of-year celebration that features a fashion show, followed up with the magazine's official release. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the final magazine for the first time and talk about its pages with friends and family. Support our student organization by bringing your friends and wearing all black! Enjoy the show and the mag!

Grand Valley States 2015 Best New Organization Winner!! We are here to provide opportunities for students who are interested in modeling, fashion, fashion design, photography, & beauty industry a venue to showcase it. We aim to provide student models with the opportunity to enhance their skills and talents, through fashion shows and beauty seminars. Additionally we desire to promote unity & diversity; embracing student models regardless of shape, size, ethnicity, etc.

494 Fashion Magazine Club welcomes any photography, film/video, writing, and art students who are interested in showcasing their abilities for our platforms. We plan to post frequently on social media and print magazines every semester for all to see. Many other colleges around Michigan such as Michigan State University, Western Michigan University, and Central Michigan University have has successful fashion clubs which have been flourishing on social media. We want to replicate this the Laker way! Our board is full of artists who are hungry to add a new element to the fashion club phenomena. We want to use the beautiful equipment that GVSU allows us to produce quality photos and videos accompanied by well-written articles for all students to enjoy. Even those who are not students will be able to learn from our posts and further be interested in becoming a Laker.
