Join Abigail Liggett and Waverly Eubank for an Open Door Discussion as they facilitate an engaging journey through LGBTQIA+ History. October 19th from 1:00pm-2:00pm in the LGBT Resource Center (KC 1161).
Participants will:
- Reflect on the journey of the LGBTQIA+ community from Stonewall to current day, emphasizing the fight for human rights in the 20th century.
- Learn about intersectionality in the community and about the roles different identities played throughout LGBTQIA+ history.
- Engage with the role of activism in the LGBTQIA+ community in present day and how we have gotten here, setbacks and milestones etc.
