Alumni, Community, Staff, Students
Come celebrate the Asian New Year with us at Grand Valley State University!
Immerse yourself in vibrant cultural performances, explore
interactive activity booths, and enjoy a FREE delicious meal with
friends and family.
Join us as we welcome the Year of the Snake - the animal
associated with wisdom, intuition and transformation. People born in
the Year of the Snake are believed to be intelligent, graceful, and insightful.
The year itself is seen as a time for introspection and planning,
where careful actions and thoughtful decisions are emphasized. It is
also believed to be a period of growth and renewal, though it may
require patience and perseverance.
Don’t miss this incredible celebration of heritage and community.
This event is FREE and open to everyone! Cultural
attire of any kind is encouraged but not required.
See last year's event here. ANYF has been an annual celebration for ASU for decades, come experience a part of our mission!
Sponsored by the Asian Student Achievement Program, from the Office of Multicultural Affairs at GVSU.
