The Campus Ministry community wants to honor Black History Month by hosting the following event:
We will be showing the Documentary 13th. The title of the documentary is based on the implications of the 13th amendment. Filmmaker Ava DuVernay explores the history of racial inequality in the United States, focusing on the fact that the nation's prisons are disproportionately filled with African-Americans.
