Get ready to Explore Your Parks! With 75+ parks and green spaces, Grand Rapids’ parks have something to offer everyone. At the 2nd annual Explore Your Parks workshop series, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks is partnering with Team Switchback to provide this free introduction to mountain biking for all ages and skill levels. Learn more about what types of bikes work best for specific types of riding, techniques, and tools to help you get started, and where you can explore mountain biking throughout Grand Rapids. Don’t have a mountain bike? We’ll have a limited supply of rented gear from GR Outside that you can use. If you do have a bike, please bring it! This event is free, and we’ll provide light refreshments and snacks for participants.
