Feminism In The Backlash

In Backlash: The Undeclared War on Women (1991) Faludi argues backlashes can be structured to maintain, retain, bring back, or enhance power. Using Faludi’s text as a starting point, GV Political Science professors Karen Zivi and Laura Schneider will discuss the current political and cultural backlash impacting feminist communities. Together we will discuss how backlash is operating in 2024 and strategize about how to push back.
